Muslims, Let's Talk
This life is too short and the next one is too long for us not to talk about our relationship with the one who created us.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
When the angel appeared to Mary the mother of Jesus he announced to her that she would give birth to a son by the power of God the Holy Spirit.  The physical birth of Jesus the Messiah without a human father was made possible by this miracle of God.

Another miracle of birth is what happens when we believe in Jesus and are born by the Holy Spirit.  Jesus calls this being born again.  He says, "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."  (John 3:8)

Throughout the Bible we find God in the person of the Holy Spirit giving people His power to perform miracles or to bring a message of prophecy to the people.  In the New Testament we see Jesus' teaching about the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit convincing us that we are sinners so that we can turn to God in repentance.  We also see the effect of the Holy Spirit: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.   (Galatians 5:22-23)
